Be it festivals or any special occasion, sweets are a must on every occasion. Whenever you want to make sweets, just make besan barfi immediately with gram flour, dry fruits and sugar.
material for besan barfi
Gram flour – 2 cups (250 grams)
Sugar – 1 cup full (250 grams)
Desi Ghee – 1 cup (200 grams)
Milk – 2 tbsp
Cashews – 2 tbsp
Pistachios – 1 tbsp
Green cardamom – 4
Take out the gram flour in a plate or plate, add milk and 2 tbsp of ghee, mix it well with the palms of both hands, mix the gram flour, ghee and milk well, filter the mixture with a steel wire sieve. Prepare granule. The taste of Besan Barfi increases manifold after making granules in gram flour.
Cut cashews into 6-8 pieces of cashew nuts. Cut the pistachios in very thin lengths. Peel cardamom and make a fine powder by crushing it.
Put ghee in the pan and heat it. Put the prepared gram flour in the ghee and fry it on medium flame, stirring the gram flour continuously until it gets a nice aroma or turns light brown or until the ghee separates from the gram flour. Take out the roasted gram flour in a plate.
Add sugar and half a cup of water in the pan, cook the sugar syrup till the sugar dissolves, after the sugar dissolves, cook the syrup for 2 more minutes and check, drizzle it in a plate with a little sugar syrup and when the syrup cools down, stick it with finger and thumb Do it. Cook the syrup till it is of two strands.
After making the syrup, add gram flour and cook it while stirring with a spoon for 1-2 minutes. Add cashews and cardamom powder and mix, the barfi has reached the freezing consistency. Check
Grease a plate or tray by adding some ghee, pour the barfi mixture into the plate and spread it evenly with a spatula, put chopped pistachios on top of the barfi and press it with a spoon. Keep the barfi frozen, it is ready in 1-2 hours.
Cut the frozen Besan Barfi into your desired pieces.
Very tasty Besan Burfi is ready, fill the gram flour barfi in an air-tight container and keep eating for 15 days.
