The Part 2

After fleeing from a stage show, the illusionists (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson) known as the Four Horsemen find themselves in more trouble in Macau, China. Devious tech wizard Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe) forces the infamous magicians to steal a powerful chip that can control all of the world’s computers. Meanwhile, vengeful FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) hatches his own plot against Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), the man he blames for the death of his father.

Aniruddh “Anni” Pathak (Sushant Singh Rajput) is a divorced middle-aged man living with his teenage son Raghav (Mohammad Samad), an aspiring engineer, who is awaiting the results of his entrance examination in the hope of enrolling in an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). On the eve of the results, Anni gifts Raghav a bottle of champagne, promising him that they will celebrate his success together, unaware that Raghav is under intense pressure. The bottle of champagne only fuels Raghav’s worries as to what will happen if he does not make it. The next day, while checking the results at his apartment, Raghav finds out that he has not qualified for IIT in JEE – Advanced results and, afraid of being called a “loser”, he jumps off the balcony. Anni rushes to the hospital where he tries to comfort his ex-wife and Raghav’s mother Maya (Shraddha Kapoor).She blames Anni for not noticing how much pressure Raghav was in. The doctor informs Maya and Anni that Raghav’s condition is deteriorating as Raghav does not have the will to live. Desperate, Anni begins to recount the tales of his time in college, in an attempt to rekindle hope in Raghav. Raghav doubts that the stories are true. Anni, in a bid to convince Raghav, invites all his friends from college to meet Raghav, and they together begin their story.

In 1992, on the first day of college, Anni is allotted a room in the H4 hostel, which is infamous for housing “losers”. The occupants of the H4 block got the name because they repeatedly performed poorly in the annual sports General Championships (GC). A dissatisfied Anni applies to change his hostel block although a clerk informs him that his application might take time. In the meantime, Anni befriends five of his hostel mates, who develop a close friendship with him:

4.Escape Plan series

Ray Breslin co-owns Breslin-Clark, a security firm specializing in testing supermax prisons. Posing as an ‘inmate’ to study facilities from within and exploit weaknesses to escape, Breslin is driven by the murders of his wife and child by an escaped convict he had successfully prosecuted.

Breslin and business partner Lester Clark receive a multimillion-dollar deal from CIA operative Jessica Miller to test a top secret prison for disappeared persons, but Breslin’s team do not know the prison’s location, to minimize the chance of outside help. Although this violates his own principles, Breslin agrees anyway, allowing himself to be captured in the guise of a Spanish terrorist named “Anthony Portos.” The plan goes awry when his captors remove a tracking microchip from his arm and drug him, preventing his colleagues from knowing where he has been taken.

Breslin wakes up in a complex of glass cells and realizes that the warden, Hobbes, is not the man he was supposed to meet. He befriends inmate Emil Rottmayer, who works for modern-day Robin Hood Victor Mannheim. The duo stage a fight that allows Breslin to study the solitary confinement cell, which disorients and dehydrates prisoners with high-powered halogen lights.

Trevor Reznik (Christian Bale) is a machinist whose insomnia has led to him becoming emaciated. His appearance and behavior keep his coworkers away, and they eventually turn against him when he is involved in an accident which causes his coworker, Miller, to lose his left arm. Trevor, who was distracted by an unfamiliar co-worker named Ivan, is blamed for the accident. No one at the factory knows of Ivan and there are no records of him. Trevor seems to find comfort in the arms of Stevie, a prostitute with genuine affection for him, and with Maria, a waitress at an airport diner he frequents. He is haunted by brief flashes of recurring imagery, and things such as his car cigarette lighter take on a menacing air. A mysterious series of post-it notes appear on his refrigerator, depicting a game of hangman.
